Thick Film Resistor

Thick film resistors are the most universal passive components in electronic circuits. Manufactured by screen-printing metal oxide resistive paste onto high-purity alumina ceramic substrates and sintered at high temperature to form a dense resistive layer, the resistors are finally coated with protective resin. Featuring stable structure and consistent performance, they are highly suitable for large-scale automated mass production.

These resistors provide an extremely wide resistance range from low ohm values to high megaohms. Available tolerance options include ±0.5%, ±1% and ±5%, with stable temperature coefficients ranging from ±100ppm/℃ to ±250ppm/℃. Thick film resistors deliver excellent surge and pulse withstand capability, reliable moisture resistance and strong anti-vibration performance for broad environmental adaptability. Anti-sulfurized versions are available for applications exposed to sulfur-containing corrosive atmospheres.

Operating temperature ranges from -55℃ to +155℃. A complete series of power ratings covers miniature 0402 (0.1W) up to high-power 2512 (3W) packages. With high power density , they effectively save PCB layout space and support compact circuit design.

Fully compatible with SMT reflow soldering and wave soldering processes, these chip resistors suit automatic mounting equipment to lower assembly costs. All products comply with RoHS and halogen-free environmental standards.

Widely applied in power electronics, industrial control systems, home appliances, automotive electronics, switching power supplies, inverters and servo control boards. They serve as sampling resistors, current-limiting resistors, voltage-dividing resistors, load resistors and circuit protection resistors to achieve accurate signal acquisition, voltage regulation, current control and circuit safety protection.

With outstanding cost performance and stable supply capacity, thick film resistors are the preferred universal resistor solution for consumer electronics and industrial equipment. Compared with thin film resistors, thick film types offer stronger pulse endurance and more economical pricing. Custom resistance values, package sizes and anti-sulfuration specifications are available upon customer request.
